Stolbtsy

There are 80 cultural centres in the Stolbtsy region including the Stolbtsy Culture Centre, 38 rural libraries, the Stolbtsy regional and children’s libraries, 5 children’s art schools, the Dzerzhinovo museum-mansion house, Smolnya art-gallery, Lada art salon of the Stolbtsy children’s library.

The Stolbtsy region holds traditional  literary festivals “Kalasaviny” and “Words about Kolas” and also regional events such as the festival of young musicians “Symon-Muzyka”, the open air conference for young artists, the contest of young trumpeters and percussionists, folk festival “Krasui, Belarus!” and others. The Stolbtsy region hosts the national poetry festival, the national festival of humour, the national festival of choirs and song companies, other events.
